Motion design for
the teams building
what's next.

Video is now strategic infrastructure. I help design the systems and make the films that treat it that way.

Coming up on 20 years across broadcast, product and brand: Samsung, Google, BlackBerry, Bell Media, and ten years with Sandwich Video.

Video has become infrastructure.

Video is no longer just a marketing deliverable. It's how products launch, teams communicate, customers learn, and ideas spread.

Most organizations still produce it with one-off workflows.

I help design durable creative systems that make every project faster, better, and easier than the last.

I'm a designer, creative systems consultant, and educator helping organizations rethink how they produce video in an AI-native world.

For nearly two decades, I've worked across broadcast, technology, product, and brand, partnering with startups, agencies, and enterprise teams to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling visual communication. Along the way, the work evolved from creating individual films to designing the systems that make great work repeatable.

Today my practice sits at the intersection of design, motion, production, and systems thinking. I help teams build durable creative workflows that scale across formats, platforms, languages, and growing libraries of content. The goal isn't simply to deliver a successful project. It's to leave behind a production system that's stronger than the one it replaces.

That work includes product storytelling, interface animation, launch films, proof-of-concept visualization, and the research-to-reality work of helping teams communicate ideas before they exist.

I'm an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in After Effects and hold a Bachelor of Design (BDes) from the York University / Sheridan College Joint Program in Design.

Every project contributes to a larger body of work: understanding how modern creative teams can produce better work with greater clarity, less friction, and systems that continue improving long after the final video is delivered.

How I think

A few principles that shape how I approach creative work.

Video has become infrastructure.

Video is no longer just a marketing deliverable. It's how products launch, teams communicate, customers learn, and ideas spread. Most organizations still produce it with one-off workflows. That's the gap I'm interested in closing.

Systems compound.

Projects end. Systems improve. Every production should leave behind reusable assets, stronger processes, and a little less friction than the one before it. The goal isn't just to ship today's work. It's to make the next project better before it even begins.

Structure protects creativity.

Creative work needs room to explore. Production needs clarity. The two aren't in conflict when the system is designed well. Good structure removes operational noise so people can spend more time making better creative decisions.

Trust changes the brief.

The best projects rarely arrive with a perfect specification. They begin with a problem worth solving and enough trust to solve it together. The most valuable creative partnerships are built on judgment, not just execution.

Research deserves to be seen.

Some of the most important work happens long before a product exists. Concepts, prototypes, and proof-of-concept films help ambitious ideas earn alignment, funding, and momentum. Making the future visible is real design work.

Design for what comes next.

Every deliverable should anticipate the next revision, the next platform, and the next person who inherits the work. Files are temporary. Systems endure.

Demand for video is compounding.

Most teams still produce video one project at a time. The fix isn't a bigger budget. It's a better system.
