Pretty Lights Gig Poster - Hangout Music Festival Contest Entry

Put together an entry for the Hangout Music Festival gig poster contest over at Creative Allies. Pretty Lights definitely tops my list of new artists I've come across in the past year, definitely check him out over at prettylightsmusic.com

Cut together a quick new reel to highlight some of the recent work/projects I've completed over the last couple months. Not quite a total refresh, some new & some old.

Daily Brief - Show Package Design

[iframe http://player.vimeo.com/video/22753286?portrait=0&color=00ffea& 560 315] I recently completed work on a show package for one of the new primetime shows on the Sun News Network here in Canada. The Daily Brief package was completed in conjunction with WhiteIron.tv in Calgary, AB. I was brought on at the start of the project to provide the design for the overall look of the show package including a show open as well as bumpers, promo templates & various transitions. Here's a look into some of what went into creating it.

Above is the show open as it was delivered, unfortunately this was prior to some last minute talent changes that altered the format of the show slightly.

Furballs - Quick C4D Hair Test

I bought the Pariah Studios texture pack the other day (pariahstudios.co.uk/texpackpro) just to have on hand for upcoming projects. I was working on something the other day that I thought would be good to use the 'Lawn' texture that comes in the Hair folder. But, having never used the hair module in C4D before I didn't know how to get it working (You can't just drag and drop a hair shader onto an object like a material). After some googling and a sample project I found online, I was able to get a better understanding of how the setup works. Obviously still a lot to learn, but it's a pretty cool module to play around with.
